Sugarbee Cottages - Franschhoek

We recently stayed at a charming cottage in the beautiful area of Franschhoek. The location was superb, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle. The self check-in system was convenient and the cottage was stylishly decorated, providing a comfortable stay. Communication with our hostess was excellent and she went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The complimentary treats and vouchers added a special touch to our stay. a highly recommended option when visiting this region.

Everything was great, except the weather, it was hot outside. The management and staff were helpful. Favourable location in the owner's garden, loved it.

De renovatie van het hotel was van hoge kwaliteit en gaf een comfortabele sfeer. De moderne inrichting van de kamers gaf ons gelijk een prettig gevoel. Het bed was prima en de kamer was schoon en netjes. Het hotel heeft een goede locatie dichtbij de snelweg en het centrum van de stad. Het personeel was erg behulpzaam en attentvol tijdens ons verblijf. Gratis fietsen maakten het gemakkelijk om naar de stad te gaan of een tochtje te maken.

The complimentary bottle of wine, ciabatta bread, rusks tea, and breakfast voucher were a great spoil. Faieema, who cleaned our cottage, was engaging. Lovely views and quiet surroundings.

The bungalow at Sugarbee Cottages was absolutely charming! I loved the cozy and homey feel of the room. The patio and outdoor seating area were perfect for enjoying the beautiful Franschhoek weather. And having a fully-equipped kitchen was a game-changer for me as a solo traveler, allowing me to prepare my own meals and save some money.

The only thing I didn't love was that the kitchen was a bit small, but that's just my personal preference. Others might still find it perfectly functional and enjoyable.

The only downside for me was that there wasn't a beach nearby. But hey, some people might prefer the countryside vibes.

We had a great value for our money at this beautiful farm with fine views. The simple but clean cottages had all the necessities for a comfortable stay, including soft white bedding, fully equipped kitchen, and even a complimentary bottle of wine. The location was amazing, close to our favorite wine estates and very central. The staff, especially Elzaan and Tom, were friendly and accommodating, making our stay even better.

The breakfast could have been better with more variety and options.

the location was perfect, nestled in a peaceful and quiet area with beautiful horses and a stunning view at night. the accommodations were exceptional and the extras provided on arrival were a lovely touch. I was greeted with freshly baked bread, a bottle of Chardonnay, coffee, sugar, jam, ice. Check-in was seamless, with the host sending the passcode for the main gate and key box in advance. the apartment was thoughtfully stocked with toiletries, drinking water, fresh bread, milk, and even a bottle of wine. the beds were comfortable and spacious, ensuring a good night's sleep.
